We have made it a family tradition to hike the White Pine Trail up Big Cottonwood Canyon for a couple of reasons. 1. It is free 2. Excercise and 3. To get out of the house. If we can make it to the first waterfall we have suceeded. One day we will make it up to the lake, we have heard it is beautiful.
Petting Zoo. They are so friendly you can roll in the dirt with the deer. Unfortunately, yes along with animals there is POOP!! Good thing they have a sink just outside the gates!! In Bear World you drive around a portion of the park to see different types of bears and animals. The kids love this part for the excitement of how close you are. You are to keep your windows closed at all times and this is why. Yes he is getting closer and closer. Oh my goodness, he climbed right up on the truck!!! I told Andrew to drive before he left scratch marks all over. And he did leave us with a fun surprise by the window. And then as fast as he came he left and went about his business.
The kids were so frightened they have a new name for this bear, "Stupid Bear!" he Here is our friend the white, Albino Elk in the park. No matter how many times you ride them, they get funner and funner every time!!
We were so super excited for Brian's birthday this year. Why? Because last year for family vacation we went to Bear World in Idaho and the only thing Brian wanted was to go back, so we did again. When Brian grows up he wants to be a Police Officer at Bear World.
I am blessed to have 6 WONDERFUL children and be an awesome stay at home MOM. I love to shuffle them here and there, make school lunches, take the garbage out, mow the lawn and get my feet rubbed with lotion! But the best part of my day after the kiddos are asleep, is spending time with my Handsome Husband!
