White Pine Trail

The last two weeks we have gone up Little Cottonwood Canyon and hiked the White Pine Trail. It is 1.4 miles to the junction of Red Pine Lake / White Pine Lake. It is 4 miles to white pine. We had no idea how far we could go. The first trip we were not prepared and didn't take any water with us, we left it in the truck because we didn't think the kids could go that far. We were very grateful they all did really well.
We packed a lunch and decided to go a little farther this time. We were so glad we did. There was an awesome stream running right by the path that we could take some great pictures.

Brian and the girls were a little curious and ventured up the path a little farther and found another fun picture spot!

Hailey was even a trooper and walked some of the path. She is very independent and likes to do things just like the big kids.

Next time we go, we are going to see if we can make it to White Pine Lake. 4 miles up and 4 miles down!
