Aimee's What?........11!

June 8th, Yup Aimee's Birthday. Our baby, well not anymore, our oldest turned 11 today. If I close my eyes and think that 11 years ago I was going to be the mother of 6 I would have told you, that was our plan! We have 3 birthdays in 2 weeks.

Aimee was a trooper, she went to school, came home and had a wonderful dinner that she chose for me to make and then we ended the day going to a wedding reception. We had a fun day, girls night out. Andrew stayed home with Brian, Hailey and our newborn baby brother, Adam.
Her new I pod nano, blue of course. Not much of a surprise there, she picked it out months before her birthday.
And some other girly things from Justice.

Hailey needs us! We are coming Little Missy.

May 25th 2010
Who would have know 2 years almost to the day that we would have Adam? Adam came on the 24th of May and Hailey is the 25th. While I was in the hospital with Adam, Hailey was so sick that all I could do was think about my baby being home sick, it was her birthday and I was in the hospital with a newborn. I told my nurse, I need to go home, she needs me. So Adam and I came home! Andrew came and picked us up. She had been able to keep some juice down and her fever was gone. Poor thing didn't even know it was her birthday. Good thing we celebrated the Saturday before and went to Chuck E Cheese!!

Hailey is one loving walking and freedom that comes with it.

Hailey's Two!

Hailey had a crazy entrance into this world also. It was a Saturday night, Andrew and I had been doing our nightly walk to bring on the contractions. We just finished watching a show and was going to bed around midnight when my water broke. Amy (our next door neighbor) came over to stay with the kids. When we got to the hospital, they knew Hailey was under stress by the color of the fluid. The doctor told us it could be the cord was around her neck, so They brought in the nick unit to be prepared. I got really sick and started to throw up. It was so late and I was ready to deliver that the doctor on call, Dr. Froerer, delivered Hailey at 5:oo A. M. She did have the cord around her neck, he cut her cord and handed her over to the nick u. They put her on oxygen and checked her out. Thank heavens everything was perfect. I was really sick and had lost a lot of blood. I had to get a shot to stop the bleeding and after a while they almost had to give me a blood transfusion.

Things did not get any better. The hospital was so understaffed that I was forgotten about. Andrew had to go get a nurse to help me several times. I was throwing up and almost passed out. We actually watched one of the nurses bathe our baby while Andrew held the throw up bin for me. It was horrible. After I finally got some medicine in me, I was exhausted and so was Andrew and my mom and dad who had also been at the hospital. Andrew went home to the kids at home to tell them our happy news about the baby and get some "rest!" My mom went home and came back to help me that night since she was so disgusted with how things had gone.

Hailey was such a good baby that I could get some sleep. Richelle spent the next night with me and we were glad to get out of there!!

The Best Gift.

Poor sick Hailey had to stay home with Grandma and Grandpa so the others could come see us at the hospital.
So many fun hugs and kisses to go around. First time they saw him was a sweet reward.
Big Brother Brian got to hold him first of course.
So sad to see Dr. Larkin retire. I was one of the last babies he delivered. We will miss him.
My Little Chubbers.
Baby Blue Eyes!! I sure hope he keeps them.
Grandma and Grandpa Jones and Aunt Richelle.
Proud Mom and Dad
Adam: Born on May 24, 2010
Weighting: 7 lbs. 3 oz. and 21 inchs. long.
Letting friends and family know we were going to have a baby.
I was not going to go home!!
On May 24th, Hailey woke up at 2:00 A.M. throwing up in her crib. She hadn't even acted like she wasn't feeling well so it was a shock at how much she threw up. I took her out to the kitchen to get her some fresh air and some medicine. Andrew came out to check on her and I told him that I thought I was in labor.

Needless to say Bishop Burton got a phone call from us and sent Amy right over. We got to the hospital around 2:30 A.M. and they checked me. I had just been to the doctor on Friday to find out my fluid was low and we were going to check it again on Monday. I had progressed since then and they watched the baby for an hour. At about 5:00 A.M. things were kinda slow so they told me I could walk for an hour or go home. Where they kidding, we went walking. Then things were great. I got an epidural, some ice chips and had rested for a minute. Andrew called to check on Hailey and bless her hear, she was sick. Amy had just gotten her out of the tub and woke up the kids to let them know we were at the hospital.

My mom, dad and Richelle came in a horrible snow storm and waited it out with us. At 7:00, Dr. Larkin came in to check on things, he broke my water and told us we should have a baby before lunch. My contractions were kinda close but not in pattern and some were strong some not. He came back in an hour later, and was surprised to see I was ready for a baby. At 9:00 A. M. Little Adam Kenneth Scott was born!!

Nothin' better to Do!

The kids were bored one Sunday afternoon and started playing on the swing set. They thought it was a fun idea to start making trains to go down the slide. Amazingly enough, nobody got hurt. Andrew and I were just sitting there anticipating someone to start crying, but it never happened. They had a great time together and it was fun to see them having so much fun.

Daddy Daughter Date

Daddy Daughter Date

Aimee and Courtney had a blast with Andrew going back in time to the Fifty's. They got to wear "poodle skirts," have ice cream sundaes and play some games. Andrew and the girl's look forward to it every year. It is something you never forget as a girl; going on a date with your dad!

Coloring Easter Eggs

Coloring Easter Eggs
It is always a family tradition to color eggs, but because I am so tired lately we almost didn't do it. Andrew picked out the kit and bought the eggs. It was one of the funnest times we have had in a while. The kids loved it as you can see.
I had to take the eggs from Hailey, she thought it was so fun to throw an egg in a cup with dye. I think out of the 18 eggs, she did 10 herself!

The colors really worked great and came out bright and pretty.

There goes another one!

Such cute kids waiting for their turn.

The finished product. Something we will always do, even if sometimes we don't want too.

"Buddy Time"

Buddy Time
Last Saturday, Andrew took Brian up Little Cottonwood Canyon to enjoy the first day of Spring and nice weather. They started out with coats and ended up carrying them the day was so beautiful.
They were watching some snowboarders come zipping down the mountain and Brain said to Andrew, "Dad, look a goat!" Andrew kindly brushed him off and said wow buddy. Brian said 'Dad, look there's a goat." This time Andrew paid a little more attention and realized it was a MOOSE! He said to Brian, "Wow, Brian, that's a moose!" They got back down to the car and asked the snowboarders if they had seen it, they replied, No. Little did they know, they were only about 15 ft. from running over it coming down the mountain.
Brian taking a great shot of his dad.
My two special MEN.
The snow is still so packed up there, Brian is standing by the top railing of the bridge across the water.

They had a great day! Buddy time, bring it on. While they were out having a good time, I took the girl's shopping for a new Easter Dress. We decided, we need to do this more often.
